Dale Sagotsky is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has extensive experience counseling children, adolescents and adults with mental health conditions. Dale provides individual, couples and family counseling.
Dale provides clinical counseling in the specialty areas of anger management, impulse disorders, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, attention deficit disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, grief and managing workplace conflict. He is also skilled in facilitating couples counseling to deal with marital conflict and domestic disputes. He is adept in utilizing person-centered, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapeutic, and positive psychology approaches.
Dale employs a multi-faceted modality approach that includes cognitive restructuring and modification, mindfulness, breathwork, systematic desensitization, encouragement, motivation, rehearsal, and visualization strategies to balance the body and mind for the individual, couple and/or family to reach full potential. Dale values a carefully considered approach to counseling which includes an active listening, non-judgmental, solution focused approach to problems.
Dale’s counseling expertise includes working with the LGBTQ population, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism Spectrum, Substance Abuse, Major Depression, Learning Disabilities, Career Counseling, Complicated Grief, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety and Panic Disorder, and Phase of life issues.
Dale holds a Master’s in Education in Rehabilitation Counseling from Florida Atlantic University, where he graduated with honors and was a member of Chi Sigma Iota, international honor society for professional counselors.
